Pax River Chapter Features Habitat Speaker

CCA’s Living Reef Action Campaign (LRAC) and the new Habitat Committee will be featured at the September meeting next week.  Rick Elyar, chair of the Habitat Committee and driving force behind the LRAC, will be the guest speaker Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. at Stoney’s Kingfisher’s Restaurant.
The LRAC recently placed more than 70 concrete reef balls that were seeded with oysters near Tilghman Island. The Central Region Chapter supervised students in Carroll County Schools in constructing the reef balls.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MEETING IS ON TUESDAY, NOT OUR REGULAR MEETING DAY OF MONDAY. Attendees will be able to order dinner and drinks off the Kingfisher’s menu starting at 6 p.m.
