Increased Exposure for BCT

Friends of the Building Conservation Trust,

With the help of our supporters and partners, the Coastal Conservation Association’s National Habitat Program, the Building Conservation Trust (BCT)has been able to make some incredible advances and progress towards restoring and conserving marine habitat over the past few years! To date, we have funded 37 large scale projects (and counting!) along the U.S. coastline. Through our highly successful matching funds program, BCT has garnered over $9 million which has been invested back into our country’s coastal waters and waterways. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a solid, generous, caring group of conservation-minded sponsors and project partners to work with.

With large-scale growth comes increased exposure, and we have been preparing for this expanded avenue of awareness by creating a brand new website for BCT! To learn more about BCT’s fantastic habitat projects, our partnerships and all of the great work we have underway, please visit: www.buildingconservation.org

In addition to our renovated website, BCT now has a YouTube page! This page features short videos showcasing our different habitat programs. Recent videos include recaps of a reef ball deployment near Tilghman Island, Maryland and a barge deployment on the Carrabelle 10 Mile Artificial Reef Site in Florida. We’d love it if you would check them out and subscribe to our channel!

We also are now active on social media! I invite you to “like” and follow our different accounts as we document and share all of our exciting BCT projects!

We pride ourselves at BCT in our ability to align with wonderful supporters and conservation partners.  There’s most definitely power in numbers as we focus on restoring and conserving our waters for generations to come. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to support any of your conservation efforts. Thank you for your support and interest in the important work we’re accomplishing at the Building Conservation Trust.

Have a safe and great Labor Day!

Sean
